YouTube Account Set Up

1. Go to www.youtube.com and "Sign Up."
2. On the YouTube home click on the Sign Up link in the upper left of the window.
   
   
   
   
3. Next an information screen will open as shown in the next image.
4. The Username field is very important. What you enter here will become part of your Youtube channel Internet address. In the example below the Internet address of this user's YouTube channel will be as follows.
5. www.youtube.com/van21workshopdemo
6. You want the name to make sense, be easy to spell and above all easy to remember. Why? Fro example if your youtube user name is silverstarvideo You will want to tell people to go to www.youtube.com/silverstarvideo. Thisis an easy name to remember and spell.
7. Enter a Username and click on the Check Availability link to see if the name is available.
8. If the name is not available try another name until you find one that works.
9. When done entering your information click on the I accept button.
   
   
   
   
10. On the next screen you will be presented with two options for opening a YouTube account. This guide assumes you already have a Google account, username and password.
11. Option 1: Please use the first option titled Do you already have a google Account? To log in and add YouTube to your active Google products enter your Google account Email address and password.
    
    
    
    
12. After signing in you will see the screen shown in the next image indicating in the green area that you have registered for and added YouTube to your Google products.
    
    
    
    
13. To log into your YouTube account go to www.youtube.com and Sign in.
